24th and 25th of march ocurred the City Rodeo.

Around 150 thousand people pass by to see the gauchos showing their skills with horses and cattle.

There was a little house for demonstrating how a PV pannel can supply energy for a water pump.

I took the opportunity for a LAC debut initiative.

Right beside the demonstration I set up some boxes for the give away of seeds.

I put some plants on top, when people approached me asking for the plants, I offered them seeds. I gave around 150 envelopes with  thyme, basil and mint seeds.

I also showed how to plant the seeds in milk cartons and PET bottles     

The Agriculture Demonstrative Centre

The Agricultural Demonstration Centre (DAC) is an administrative unit of the Agricultural Development Division of the municipal secretariat for commerce and industry. DAC is an area of ​​32 hectares where various projects and activities in rural areas are developed.
Issues related to rural property taxation, acquisitions and ornamental fruit tree seedlings, technical guidance, rabbit production and dairy cattle, garden of medicinal plants are some of the activities of the center. The House of Honey, capable to receive 100 tons of honey per year, is located within the area of DAC, as well as the Office of the Municipal Emater.
The Agricultural Development division deals with policies and projects aimed at promoting agricultural activities, ranching and agribusiness, as well as events such as the Peach Festival, the Grape and Plum Fest, the Fish Fair, Rural Week  among others.
